A webinar or live workshop is one of the best ways for coaches and creators to turn followers into clients. But registrations don’t come from one announcement post. Here’s a timeline and the posts to make.
Before you promote
- A clear, specific title promising one result.
- A simple registration page.
- Date, time and time zone (ET for US audiences, with PT if helpful).
- Graphics for feed, Stories and LinkedIn.
Two weeks out
- Announcement post: title, date, what attendees will learn, registration link.
- Carousel: “3 things you’ll learn” with a CTA on the last slide.
- Stories: announcement with link sticker.
One week out
- Problem post: the pain point the webinar solves.
- Teaser video: a quick tip from the webinar.
- Proof post: a client story related to the topic.
- Stories: poll about the topic, then the link.
Final days
- FAQ post: “Will there be a replay? Is it free? Who is it for?”
- Countdown sticker in Stories.
- 24 hours left reminder post.
- Day of: “We go live in 3 hours” Stories.
After the webinar
- Thank-you post with highlights.
- Replay availability (if offered) and deadline.
- Key takeaways carousel.
- Offer reminder with a clear deadline.
